Who we are
Code Instinct (KvK 80936792) is responsible for the personal data processed through this website. You can reach us at info@codeinstinct.nl.
What we collect and why
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message, and, if you fill them in, your company, what you need and your budget range. When you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use this only to reply to you and, if you want, to prepare a proposal. We do this to take steps you ask for before a possible agreement, or because we have a legitimate interest in answering your questions.
When you visit the site, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is needed to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. We don’t use it to identify you.
No cookies, analytics or tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. It loads no fonts, videos or other content from third parties. The site remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme, and the Road to the World Cup concept remembers its appearance setting. Both are stored in your own browser and are never sent to us.
Who processes data for us
We use a small number of providers who process data on our behalf, under their data processing terms:
- Cloudflare hosts this website and protects it against attacks.
- Web3Forms (Web3Creative) delivers contact form messages to our inbox. To block spam, it may check your IP address and email address with the spam filters CleanTalk and Akismet. Web3Forms deletes submissions after three years at most.
- Mailgun receives the email sent to our addresses.
We don’t sell your data or share it with anyone else, unless the law requires us to.
Data outside the EU
Cloudflare and Mailgun are based in the United States, and Web3Forms operates from India, so your data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
If your message doesn’t lead to working together, we delete it within two years of our last contact. If we do work together, we keep our correspondence for as long as the project runs, and anything that forms part of our financial records for seven years, as Dutch tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, to limit how we use it, or to send it to you or someone else in a usable format. You can also object to how we use it. Email info@codeinstinct.nl and we’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes
When our website or providers change, we update this statement and the date at the top.
